An evening to remember

If you were lucky enough to be present at the 6 June bidorbuy Gauteng top sellers gala, either as an invited top seller or as a paying guest*, you will surely be inspired to start a scrapbook. (All you need for your own book of memories is just a click away, in the bidorbuy Scrapbooking section).

The evening was informative. The participants learned where bidorbuy stands now and what the future is likely to bring. In short, the current figures are good, and the projected ones are even better.

The evening was also entertaining. The wonderful cast of Barnyard’s Route 66 musical had about three hundred strong audience swaying to the rhythm of American country and rock tunes.

We shall leave you in suspense as to the names of the three top Gauteng sellers for 2008. The top three will be revealed as soon as our photographer extraordinaire for the evening, Gillian (who otherwise doubles as CEO of bidorbuy’s sister company, Jobs.co.za), makes everyone look as beautiful as they felt during this memorable event.

Therefore, keep an eye on this space. You may see yourself having a good time: clapping, dancing, smiling and even – yes, the bravest ones did that too – singing along. When you do, there is no alternative but to head straight to the Scrapbooking section and get working on that album.

*Kudos received so far in the form of positive ratings (keep ‘em flowing in!):

GREAT EVENING! Also very imformative as to what Bid or Buy has to offer for the future- looks very promising!
Suggestion: Why not have a contact us page for questions that people would like to ask in general like how to up load several images at once(of which I was asked by several sellers on the evening).
Also why not incorporate the marlous evening with pic’s on the home page with the 3 top sellers listed.
Also another suggestion: How about a link on the sellers or buyers page linked to the SAPO to track items.
This would prove useful to most of the sellers to help track items.

I also would like someone to email me about IrfanView to upload as I have swopped computers and need to upload my pictures. My email is (email address removed by the administrator).

Many thanks again for a lovely evening and cant wait for all the exciting things to happen!!

    Regards

  2. Hi Albert2007,
Thank you for your suggestions. I’ll pass them on to our manager.
bidorbuy is constantly updating its Help and FAQ pages, and I am sure that some of the issues you raise will find a place there.
You most welcome to view the photos from the top sellers event on the Facebook bidorbuy page here: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Bryanston-South-Africa/bidorbuy/76786942897 (there is a link to that page on bidorbuy home page, under the section called “Interact with us”).
As for IrfanView, you may download it from http://www.irfanview.com/. Please, no emails or other contact details on the site (this blog is also part of bidorbuy.co.za).
