What do you sell?

Luxury designer fashion accessories with a particular focus on watches and sunglasses. We have Diesel, Gucci, Armani, Dior, Ysl, Seiko, Aquaswiss, Tag Heuer, Chopard and many more luxury brands.

What started as a hobby eventually turned into a full time online business.

When did you start selling on bidorbuy?

I’ve been on bidorbuy since varsity, around 2003. I started selling online part time while studying a masters degree in business. For the past two years I have been a full time seller on bidorbuy.

What first prompted you to sell on bidorbuy?

The excitement and thrill of online auctions. It was a new, exciting and different platform to sell things back in 2003.

What sets your company or products apart from the rest?

We supply authentic luxury designer brands at up to 80% savings from retail prices. Our objective has always been to bring consumers the absolute best in luxury fashion accessories at an affordable price. Our products and service are 5-star and we intend to keep it that way.

How do you promote your products?

If you have quality items, promotion works itself. The better your quality and the more value you can provide for the price being paid, the more likely it is that your products will promote themselves.

What has been the biggest lesson you have learnt?

Top notch customer service has always been a priority. It costs more to attract a new customer than to retain an old one. Keep your customers coming back and you’re sure to increase your sales volumes.

What advice would you give to sellers who are new to bidorbuy?

CUSTOMER SERVICE. I repeat that, and in all caps, because good customer service is the one single most important trait of a successful business.

What are your favourite features on bidorbuy?

The administrative backend is easy to use and insightful and allows us to keep track of sales and customers with ease.
